My first Sympathy Card

I will begin my first post with this sympathy card that was also the first sympathy card I have ever created. I used this stamp from paper inspirations, called watercolor cone flower ( G9731) that i found at a store up in Oakhurst called The Cats Meow (http://www.catsmeowstamps.com/). They have a huge selection of rubber stamps from all kinds of vendors, which is what I like because I'm an equal opportunity shopper. The sentiment actually came from a rubber stamp I found at the dollar tree. I was hesitant to buy it but it works great. You do have to prep it up a bit with some versamark ink before putting the desire ink and it will ink better. In this case I used the Tim Holtz distress ink vintage photo. I wanted a semi faded look to the card which I think vintage photo ink provided. To add the glitter I used some scotch clear glue with 2-way applicator. I absolutely love this glue because it's photo safe and I like the two way applicator. It's precise enough to get small amounts and huge enough when you need to glue a bigger piece. I put some glue on the center of the flower and then sprinkled gold glitter on to it. I did one flower at a time to make sure I didn't get on anywhere else. I stamped it on Kraft color cardstock and adhered it to brown Bazzill paper. Well I hope you guys like my card. I will post another card soon. If you have any questions you guys can email me. Thanks... Celina
