A Male Birthday Card

I have to start off this post by apologizing for being away from my blog for such a long time. Life just gets really busy sometimes and you have to neglect some stuff and this time it was my blog. Anyhow, I'm sharing with you guys a birthday card I did for my Fiance, yesterday was his birthday. And like I have mentioned before creating male orientated cards are difficult for me. I like to use flowers and bling. So I decided to use my new DCWV Summer Indian fall stack. They have some very cute patterns in that collection that aspire more for male orientated projects. Since I went with the striped paper that had all the fall colors in it, I used my Martha Steward leaf stamps to emboss them on distress green paper that I cut out and adhered to the card. Using the same paper I embossed happy birthday cut it and used dimensionals on them. It still looked a bit unbalanced so I put eyelets and brown hemp through the eyelets and waa laa the card was done. This time I also decorated the inside of the card but since I have already written my message to my finance, I can't show you :-). Sorry maybe next time.

On a side note, I'm making my first mini album. I'm like 75% done with it. Can't wait and to show you guys. And also I'm making some Halloween treats for my little cousins, boy do I have a lot of them.

Anyhow, till next time. I hope it's sooner than later.

Celina~~
